Firstly a huge appreciation shoutout to all the valued VOLUNTEERS who attended our first Club Administration Conference and Coaches & Sports Trainers Forum, Thank You and We are truly grateful for your continued commitment to Your Clubs.

We trust you are all well and getting ready for the 2024 NRL NT Darwin Rugby League Season and have noticed the TV commercials promoting registrations. Thanks to our media partner Nine Darwin.

In particular the kick off of the Northern Territories Premier Rugby League Competitions the  DABSCO Men’s Premiership and Senior Womens Premiership on the weekend commencing Friday 12th & Saturday 13th April.

This year we will be further Honouring Ron Gatley a Foundation Member and Life Member of the DRL, NTRL, NRL NT by rebranding the Reserve Grade Competition as the Gatley Shield with its own dedicated logo.

Ron was the very foundation of Rugby League in Darwin and the Northern Territory having worked tirelessly over many years and his legacy has continued with the reserve grade competition shield acknowledging Ron’s many years of service to our local game.

Based on the introduction and success of last year we once again would like to host the 2024 Season Media Night on Wednesday 27th March from 6.00pm where we bring together all the key stakeholders who will play a role in making it an UNREAL season in 2024.

• All Club/Team Head Coaches
• All Club/Team Captains
• Leadership players x 2 in addition to club captains

**All Coaches are asked to be presented in 2024 off field apparel if possible.

**All Players are asked to be presented in 2024 on field apparel if possible.

The Task
Key Objective create hype and resources for the upcoming season.

• Officially Announce DABSCO/NRL NT Partnership
• Media interviews
• Photos/Images/Video
• Clubs to return all 2023 winning premiership trophies.
• Build resources to support marketing and promotion of our local game and both 2024 Premier Competitions.

Food and beverage will be made available to all those in attendance

Please note this is not the Official Season Launch as that is scheduled for Friday night April 12th with invitations to be sent out later this week.
